Start identity verification from the prompt in homely. The app asks for a South African identity document or, for a foreign national, a passport, followed by a selfie.

1. Read the preparation instructions on “Verify identity”.
2. Provide your own document through the verification screen and follow its capture instructions.
3. Complete the selfie step as directed.
4. Return to homely and check the displayed verification status.

Verification has not completed

Follow any action shown by the verification screen. “Verification in progress” is different from “Verification complete”. If the status remains unresolved and no next action is available, contact support.
